In a recent poll, it turned out our staff spend more time online in the evenings than they do watching TV. Is this nerdy or normal? Hey, we're not sure anymore 'cause it's normal to us! We just can't get enough of the web.
We do get asked though why we offer "website design services" when so many people from IT support people to students supposedly offer it too. Well, we get their point, it hardly seems like we're in a niche!
But good quality corporate style web design is so very very difficult that only a small pocket of companies can deliver beyond expectations everytime - and I'm pleased to say that our clients, who include Microsoft UK and Microsoft US and Microsoft EMEA, believe we're one of them.
Web design is a true skill that not only requires artist talent, it requires experience and understanding of usability, accessibility and optimisability, not to mention knowledge of information architecture, technical platforms, and content management systems.
And web designers with this talent are hard to come by. We know because it takes 350 quality CVs just to find someone that qualifies for an interview! Luckily we've found some that are also kinda cool.
We should mention our techies as well. By their own admission, they're slightly nerdier that the rest of us.
