PageRank values

Google sets its Page Rank values to range from 0 - 10.

0 is the lowest value - usually relating to a new or "unmeasured" page.

Page Rank 1 - 4 is the most common set of values for web sites.

Page Rank 5 - 6 is indicative that a site is perceived to be quite good in general.

Page Rank 7 - 8 is indicative that a site is perceived to be very good in general.

Page Rank 9 is the highest realistic Page Rank value a site can achieve, though it is extremely difficult to get to this level.

Page Rank 10 is reserved for a handful of sites, including www.google.com!

The values are understood to be exponential, rather than linear - i.e. a Page Rank jump from 6 to 7 is much harder to achieve than one from 5 to 6.
