British Waterways is the organisation that cares for 2,200 miles of the country's canals and rivers in the UK. The work we provided was conceptual in response to their brief and their change in status to become a charity. It centred on identifying information that would engage a variety of audiences, with a focus on social content and encouraging donations. The architecture was designed to draw users back to the site through the use of QR codes, strategically placed along their waterways and used as a nature trail and competition for kids, and a way to access historical information.
