The Challenge

The British School of Brussels is a leading international school in Brussels attended by the children of MEPs and transient business people. It is an impressive school by any standards - a modern campus style setting with state of the art facilities. The school is often selected or shortlisted before parents arrive in Brussels and therefore the website is a key marketing tool. We were tasked with re-architecting and designing the website to give a better feel for the environment, to improve the understanding of what was on offer and to whom it was available. The brief was to make it simple to navigate, flexible and easy to edit and update. It was built on Decibel CMS using taxonomised content (a system of relating content using predefined 'tags'), which has substantially the number of pages, as well as the admin time required for the client. A highly successful and enjoyable project!
